Restoring a grade two listed High Commission building

Our client was looking for a company with the expertise, technical capability and capacity to solve the problems they were experiencing with the maintenance of their historic building. Adapting the programme to ensure the Diplomatic Mission could remain open for business throughout the renovation process was critical. The brief from our client was simple, restore the outside of the building. We listened to the concerns our client had which helped our technical team to put together an extensive repair plan. Solving the day to day challenges our client was facing, we diligently tackled the defects and created a decorating schedule which ran sequentially. Ensuring any disruptions were kept to a minimum. Having a large team of qualified professionals all working together, following a detailed programme ensured the project was delivered to a very high standard, on time and in budget.

Exterior Work

We successfully bid for the tender to repair and decorate the front and rear elevations of this fabulous listed Embassy building. Fulfilling the terms of the lease there were constraints regarding the materials we could use. Access was required at all times by the Diplomatic staff and members of the Public to ensure the Embassy could continue with its day to day business. The front elevation was extremely busy with heavy footfall and the unique RHS Chelsea garden located in the communal area at the rear of the property had to be protected for the duration of the works. Our client was looking for a company with a proven track record of achievement , the capability to work to a high standard and the capacity to accommodate the time frame they had to complete the works. When we were awarded the bid we met with our client, we listened to their concerns and we discussed their priorities. A schedule of works and programme timeline was agreed with our client to accomplish all of the project objectives. The renovation project was completed on time, delivered in budget and finished to a high standard. Our client was fully engaged with the renovation process and they were thrilled with the outcome.
